Dragon Age II is the sequel to the best RPG game of 2009, Dragon Age: Origins. In Origins, you play as a Grey Warden whose duty is to kill the Archdemon and to stop the Blight of Darkspawn. Dragon Age II follows the events after the slaying of the Arch Demon through the life of a Fereldan refugee named Hawke. Hawke and his family somehow managed to escape the Darkspawn Blight in Ferelden and left for Kirkwall, a city on the Free Marches. Like many other refugees who left Ferelden to escape the Blight, Hawke and his/her family wasn’t granted permission to enter the city and was forced to do a ruffian’s work to enter the city and live.
Like Dragon Age: Origins, the game’s story will vary according to the decisions of the player. Players who have installed and finished Dragon Age: Origins have the option of loading up their saved characters in order to follow up the events that happened during Origins. This will give you some minor quests like killing a werewolf or the Dalish elves, and finding out some Amaranthine nobles plotting to kill the Warden. Nevertheless, doing this has little to no effect to the outcome of the game.
